Bravehearts Martial Arts Institute has spent nearly two decades shaping champions in Silverdale and the greater Kitsap County area. It is a total program of character development, fitness, self-defense, sports and fun — for everyone, regardless of age, gender or current physical ability. Its goal is to create an atmosphere of success and accomplishment, making sure that every student feels great about themselves as they make their journey towards “Discipline, Character and Excellence!”

Our Vision
We help every member of Bravehearts Martial Arts Institute experience satisfaction by creating in them their desire to excel, making sure that every student feels great about themselves as they quest for their personal best in an atmosphere of success and accomplishment.
Martial arts teach the art of self-perfection and the virtue of human life — respect for instructors, senior students, classmates and themselves. Alongside physical technique, the central theme is cultivating good character and correct attitude.
Techniques are designed to develop control of the whole body while demonstrating poise, building flexibility in every joint and helping relieve fatigue and stress.
Martial arts can knock down an opponent with a single blow, but our emphasis is on mastering defense — training rooted in respecting peace and justice: “never to attack, but to defend oneself.”
Taekwondo and our other martial arts have grown into Olympic sports. Ideal for children who don’t thrive in team sports, giving them a place to flourish while combining physical and mental practice.
Not everyone trains for competition. Many come as part of our family, enjoying the health benefits along the way. Whatever your reason for joining, you’ll have fun practicing with us — inside and outside the gym.
